If you’re preparing for your first bridal shopping appointment, it’s good to come prepared! You don’t need to do much on your end, but there’s always a few tips we love to give our brides. Read on for a few things to bring and a few things to keep in mind.
Inspiration
Before coming in for your appointment, look at wedding dresses and take note of what designs you’re liking. Maybe you’re drawn to certain silhouettes or design elements! Take a look on Pinterest and in a few bridal magazines, then bring your inspo pics in for your stylist to see. It’ll help your stylist better understand your personal style and which dresses to pull for you to try on.
An Open Mind
Although we strongly recommend coming in with an idea of what you may want, we also encourage you to keep an open mind. While it’s great to come inspired, we find plenty of brides end up falling in love with something they never expected to! So when you come to your appointment, be open to trying new styles.
Guests
We love hosting your guests at the boutique! Bring a few trusted loved ones to help you narrow down any tough decisions and help you find the perfect dress. However, we always want to remind our brides to only bring those whose opinions you trust and value—after all, it’s your dress, so the final decision needs to be yours, and you shouldn’t have your opinion overwhelmed while choosing!
